It is the intentional destruction and massacre of people by any means and backed with religious, political and excuses. In simple term it is killing of people but on a large scale.
History is full of such wild incidents. But we know much lesser about them. One such Genocide occured in 16th century executed by Christopher Columbus on American lands.
Another such incident took place in Kashmiri Pandits Genocide in India, which is also unknown to many.
